This is my first ww2 german bag
It is huge and a little heavy
Fortunately, the eagle mark is still there

Correct I believe Dan. I think ration bags were paper right? This one is cloth.

Typical ration bag.... not for clothes but for almost everything (potatoes etc)

H.Vpl. means Heeres Verpflegung (= Army rationing )

And if you look inside the eagle must be clearly visible too! That goes for my ration bag anyway... Very nice item!
