Hello,
Came across this WW2 "War Christmas 1940" Beer Jug with Bumblebee (Hummel) motif, does anyone have an idea from which unit, regiment, division it came from ?
Cheers

The Hummel was a self propelled artillery gun. I guess it would have to be a panzer armored artillery battalion.
That's a nice mug by the way!
Good guess!
But the Hummel wasn't designed until late 1942. It first went into action in July/August 1943 at Kursk.

Hi Alex, it is a super item. I would say it is a unofficial or semi official unit emblem for sure.
I have one beer mug in my collection from Christmas 1940.
Cheers, Ade.
