Y straps?

Article about: Hi guys, Picked up these y straps. Look ok to me, grey painted steel hardware, but concerned with the impressed line along the leather straps. Is that a post war feature? cheers, Lenny

    Thanks Tom, was just unsure of the line. Presumably just a different maker who did the lines? BTW, your site is fantastic... :-)

    No maker marks on them ??

    The imprinted lines can be found on more equipment, and I have seen it before on light weight Y straps

    Hi Tom,

    No maker mark or RB No. that I can see. I got them specifically for my DAK Lufty Flak tunic. According to Dal McGurk they used these straps with the tropical belt. I'm waiting on a pair of D-Rings coming from Espenlaub Militaria for it...

    These two lines on the edges can be also found on leather belts for instance, usually of early manufacture...
