Zeltbahn - Gray

Gray Zeltbahn (tent sheet). According to Jphilip the earlier gray shelter quarters are generally believed to be issued to paramilitary organizations such as TeNo (Technische Nothilfe) , R.A.D. (Reichs Arbeitsdienst) & H.J. (Hitler Jugend). The Heer used the gray triangular Zeltbahn between 1927 and 1931. Have heard possibly the SS could have used them as well prior to the splinter pattern camo.

Zeltbahn is marked:

"Warei" - Patentzelte
Walter Reichert
BERLIN NW 40
NW 40 stands for a district in Berlin and does not stand for the date

There should be a second stamp in the lower right corner that shows the production year.
Judging the color it could really be one of the Reichswehr ones.
But judging colors on pictures is very difficult, also the zink buttons wouldn't really belong to such a early Zeltbahn.

I will look for any additional marks once I pick the items up this weekend. I believe it is a RAD, TENO, HEER or HJ Zelt. I doubt as well Reichswehr but an earlier or pre war piece. Not really my area of deep expertise.
