ZF41 Scope Questions?

Hi,

I pick up this ZF41 scope over the weekend. I took it apart from its mount to take better photos of it. The scope is unmarked except for the letter "O" which is for the type of lubricant used I think. The mount is stamped with a double "duv". Are the scope and mount W.W.2 German original?

As Harry has put the mount looks ok as for the sight it could be ok just late war but i know there are good fakes of these about and on ebay alot of the time

I don't think that I've ever seen a double stamped makers mark like this before. I Do know, as has been said, that they have been making some Very good fakes of these ZF-41's these days-some of them still in the canisters or in Original canisters. Unless it's still attached to the rifle and has been from day one, I would be very leery of buying a scope nowadays.

I ask to a friend, in the 70's the main stock was in Paris in OPTAS shop. Theprise was 50 ff, Later he sold many boxes to Germany.
