    Guess I am a sucker for ammo shells, netted these plus the toy plane which I thought was cool, it's made by Hubley toy company made in the 60's, the shells are 3 20mm m103, 30mm shell and not sure on the larger one maybe someone can I'd it for me but anyways paid $35 for them all and the plane was a bonus item he gave me

    The large one looks very much like a 40mm bofors gun shell case. Although I am unfamiliar with the headstamps (look a bit Russian to me?), many countries used such weapons. Cheers.

    Its not a 40mm shell I got one of those,,this one measures 10" while my 40mm is 12", I am like you I don't have a clue on the head stamp ether

    The shells are very nice but that plane is a rarity also, i could see that alone making $50-100

    Thanks Dave, I thought the plane was cool and only missing the propeller, didn't know it was sorta rare

    Glenn I seen that too but nothing close, going to Post it over on the ammo forum and see if I can get a clue , I am guessing a 37mm round

    These early 50 60s metal hubley planes can start at $40 upwards, there was one for sale in a catalogue that was in a terrible state and the starting bid was $39.99, and collectable items in their own right, think how much Dinky, Matchbox and Corgi vintage cars go for now and it gives some idea as to prices of metal toys
