I found this in my yard, along with another identical but more beat up one. Is this a bullet? Any information appreciated

Possibly a .38 pistol round.

The island is littered with spent rounds from the war, there were practice areas in the north for the RAF, in fact a lot of Polish and Canadian airmen are interred in a small churchyard up there, also from time to time the sand dunes shift with errosion exposing ordnance, usually mortar bombs, but also AAA shells.
