    Possibly a .38 pistol round.

    LOL!!! Sorry but I did find that funny! I think the man wanted to know the where abouts of the person who asked the original question in the hope that it may provide a clue to help identify the bullet! Guffaw Guffaw. Sorry Im still finding it funny!

    I thought you were the original poster. That would be funny if you found the bullet on the Isle of Man. I was indeed asking smokinbakin. : )

    The island is littered with spent rounds from the war, there were practice areas in the north for the RAF, in fact a lot of Polish and Canadian airmen are interred in a small churchyard up there, also from time to time the sand dunes shift with errosion exposing ordnance, usually mortar bombs, but also AAA shells.
