I went to a local car boot sale and managed to get this little lot of items for £5 in total. The Shell case is a 77mm german shell - dated 1917. Quite pleased with them all.
    Does anyone recognise the cockade?
The USAF plastic button has 'UB Co - NY' written on it - im not sure if its a WW2 button?
The other plastic button with the 3 lions on it - i can see that there was a brass version posted here: buttons to ID
Does anyone know what nationality it is?
    Thanks guys

The brownish button is actually a WWI US Army Uniform button. It is made from what they used to call "Vegetable Ivory" and is a somewhat uncommon button...

Hi Guys, visited my local boot sale again yesterday - was quite pleased with my finds:
WW1 77mm german shell case - in very good condition.
Also found WW2 british folding barbed wire cutters in with some old rusty tools - dated 1940 and stamped with crows foot mark.
Finally, at the last stool which I passed on the way back to the car I spotted this ammo box for PIAT rounds appears to be dated July 1943 and in very nice condition!

I got some other bits this week at the boot fair.
The box looks like its for 'case spare valves' - possibly for a radio but i need to look into this further?
The other two items are pliers both dated 1945 with the government crows foot mark - paid 20p for the pair!
