Finds in the GARBAGE!

The top one is a 'Mossberg' .22 - A little gun oil on the metal parts
should take care of the rusty spots, and a good rub on the wood
with linseed oil will bring them back quite well,
along with bore cleaning..........!

They mystery is solved, THANKS! That rifle has absolutely zero markings on it except for a U.S. Patent number on the trigger.

The customer who donated the German M35 Heer helmet to me for use in my classroom (instead of repainting it for use when he rides his Harley) stopped by our recycling facility today. I wish I had the helmet on-hand for the picture, but I guess the sign will do!

Thanks Steve! The safety seems stuck on the rifle... I can't seem to release it to remove the bolt. The magazine catch and follower came out and peeking thru you can see that the bolt is in OK shape!

I am so over the moon happy!

Does anyone know if the belt buckle is authentic? If so, what branch is it attributed to?

Buckle looks to be an SA. I don't know if it's a good one or not.

The safety might come un-stuck with a bit of penerating oil
( WD-40 ? ) This rifle will also clean up really nice - gun oil
on the metal and linseed oil for the stock.

I still cannot believe all your magnificent 'finds' of late
- although these pieces seem to have
found you.........!
