Bayo is a Spanish M1893/13 Long bayo-the chequered grips are a give away-it's for the Spanish Mauser M1913 Short rifle but will fix on any early Spanish Mauser.
I constantly ask that question about Nazi belt buckles etc.

Our trucks early in the morning before things get crazy... In the morning when they all roll out at the same time, I pretend they are panzers going off on a mission to destroy garbage.
A customer just offered me a "helmet with a 'V' on the side." I have no idea what it could be... He said he would bring it with him next time he comes in.
