Joe, around whats your oldest bottle in the grouping?
Ryan
I'll have to go back and check tomorrow. I guess the first bottle I posted, the Smirnoff de Czar, is rare AND desirable. Evidently it featured prominently in the film Blade Runner and it was only made in 1982. Empty bottles are worth a lot... I can only imagine how much this full, unopened bottle is worth!!
Joe i think your going to be happy What is a bottle of smirnoff de czar vodka 45 years old never opened worth
Ryan
Lol thanks! I just found this:
Reports have recently been made public that this brand of bottled vodka was used as a prop in the movie Blade Runner. This particular bottle is very rare and difficult to atain due to it being a special reserve that was released in 1980 and discontinued in 1982 because of lack of sales.
In fact, this kind of bottle was used in two locations. The most famous is the Tsing Tao scene, when Deckard buys it after Zhora retirement. But a good eye and the first scene, when Deckard sits down to eat some food at White Dragon sushi bar, you can see a pair of decorated bottles with some strange symbols (arabic text). They are Czar bottles too without labels at all.
This bottle is very scarce and very expensive when appears at ebay or other auctions sites. The fact that any bottle has at least 30 years and vendors are aware of Blade Runner rise the prices at high levels. Range prices starts as low as $250 and reach till $1,000 or more! Ouch! this is a very expensive prop to add to your collection dude!
Thats amazing how much a bottle of vodka can get you lol.
Was that photo the fridge at your faculty Joe..........
