    Personally I would call the police in, one, it shows your being responsible,two, its the safest thing to do they will have access to the right people to call in, or if you prefer find a very deep expanse of water and let it go ,preferably where public can't get at it

    im not saying to do this. a guy that i higher for work, said that he found a live ww1 hand grenade at his mums house many years ago. i asked him what did he do with it. he said he went to the bush block he owns. and put in boiling water to deactivate it.

    If he boiled it I wonder if he opened the grenade first,which would have been just as dangerous and very foolish

    this is what he told me is that in the hot water the TNT liquefied. he was a engineer in the the army for over 15 years. but he said in the box were he found the hand grenade there was a ww1 german helmet. we do call him sex fingers. he f#*ks everything he touches. thats what scared me when he said he had a old mills bomb

    he has got got a box of fuse clamps. still in there wrapers. from a ww2 stash. that they destroyed.
