Just picked up this ammo I do not have it on me now since i'm at college but does anyone know about the blue/grey bandoleer that the German ammunition is in?

The German bandoleer is half of a Luftwaffe / Fallschirmjager one im trying to locate the other half now... :P

Update IDK what it is now it looks like dish buttons from a bread bag any ideas?

AmericanKraut,Bandoleer is not F.J.. I have 2 of them. Looks nothing like mine. It is Portguese 8mm. ball. Nice campaign hat in a good size. The 30-06 ball should be good.Rich A. in Pa.

Thanks for the help are there any reference sights or pictures you know of related to the bandoleer so I could learn more?
I just found a similar item that was labeled Turkish, might it be that instead?

A 3rd AAF patch, Dogtags belonging to a Pvt. Elwood H Mitchel, and 3 Life magazines 2 of which have 8th AAF articles. I think im trying to focus on 8th aaf for now.
