Article about: These is what i got from the other flea market (not the usual one when i found helmet etc) i found in here in this past 1 month. It's paper based collection though : 1917 Dutch Trench Warfar

    Here's some of my finding in these past weeks.
    Flea Market Find
    • An east indies stahlhelm, after 4 years i finally got it again.
    • Some 1950's TNI related photos
    • 1950's TNI soldier service book
    • A caricature about the communist rebellion dated in 1948
    • Some photos dated in 1920's complete with a negative plate
    • 2 Indonesia passport dated late 1950's and early 1960's. I bought those because ... indonesian foreign politic at that time shown explicitly in there
    • And a poster from a party, urging the people to endorsed Soekarno's new reign in 1959

    Love those Stalhhelms. Great for you to get them

    Interesting what was done to the M1 type clone. Don't think it was for cooking Lol. No burn marks on it. Wonder why it was done.

    Indeed, 4 years i finally got it again.
    I once saw the other stahlhelm maybe 2 years ago. But it's in relic condition and the price is way out of mind.

    About the m1 clone, i have no idea why someone made this either. Maybe it's for accessory.

    Yes, i think so. The helmet shape is the same with the information i got.
    Oh anyway, the liner and the chinstrap was replaced in here.

    A japanese military manual sold for the public. I think it's made in post october 1943.
    2 photos of japanese ships in action.
    3 photos of netherlands era, 1 of the last dutch east indies governor general, the others knil soldiers.
    TNI throwing axe dated 1990.
    The remain of Mills bomb instruction tools.

    It's been a long time since the last time i post some my new findings in here. Since finally have a decent cellphone camera, here goes.
    Part 1:
    Flea Market Find
    DH-132 helmet, some knil pre war manual books, some knil post war photos, a post war knil theater costume manual, 1950's TNI machine gunner diary, and 1942 diary about japanese entrance in my hometown.

    KNIL manual about medicine and railway transportation.

    KNIL theater costume manual published by dienst welfare (welfare service).

    Photo of knil "andjing nica" battalion in 1948-1949.

    Part 2:
    Flea Market Find
    A TNI water canteen and mess kit, IJA mess kit, vietcong-nlf propaganda book, 2 japanese propaganda magazines, a letter from the commander of the legion mangkunegara of solo (knil native forces), 1 red cross announcement letter, and 2 japanese propaganda leaflet.

    One of my favorite collection. Vietcong-NLF propaganda book but made by chinese. In the future i'll post this book in here.

    Japanese leaflets. I think it's made during japanese invasion of java in early march 1942.

    Canteen and mess kits. The TNI mess kit was made in 2003 and the japanese in 1942.

    Lastly some of my favorites too. 2 knil socket bayonets: getrokken/snider and beaumont M1871 pattern 1. Also japanese announcement for security and order during the occupation of buitenzorg (bogor) in 1942.
