Hi colt45! Definitely it's an Iitalian post war Air Force forage cap. My dad was an airman and had one like that.

Nice find indeed! About 10 years ago I came away from the local second hand market with a german gas mask can. Couldn't stop laughing when I got back in the car... it had just cost me 30 PENCE!

Some more nice finds the last couple of days.
A periode I do fancy very much, as I took part of it for a bit , the Belgian colonial periode.
A original trunk with a bed.
A pith helmet.
And a bronze plaque of one of our former King's, must have hang in the guy's bureau.
They didn't came cheap but never the less a good buy.

very thrilled about the find of thise morning!!
It was worth getting up at 05.00 o' clock to get to the flea market!
A complete and well preserved Belgian WW I Adrian at 20 euro!
It is a "keeper"!!

here is what I found today.
The military papers of a Belgian sergant named Smeets, who survived both wars.
The special thing on thise one is the release paper of Stalag XA where he was held prisoner.
