Default Hauptkartusche and Vorkartusche K.5 containers found in old house

Hello to all. I am new to the forum, and this is my first post. I hope my staying here will be long and usefull

Well, today i was at a friends old house, and as i like military stuff, i asked him to give me a tour of the old house, in case there is something left behind by a few armies that were around at the time of ww2. I live in Slovenia, in the Karst region, so Italian and German stuff is not so hard to find, if you know where to look.
I made a quick research about the containers, and found out they were storing charges for the Krupp K.5 cannon.
    Can anyone confirm my research?
    Thanks folks

nice containers you found! its for the cartridge of the K5 gun i guess. what's the diameter and hight of the container? if you want to sell one of the containers, im interested since i have the brass cartridge for it.
the "haupt" should contain the maincharge in the cartidge, the "Vor" was the seperate charge loaded in front of the cartridge.

Hi thekees, you are right, i was researching a bit more and found out that the "haupt# one was for the main charge in the brass cartridge, the "vor" was for additional charges. The container for the Hauptkartusche is also reinforced on the inside with metal rings, on the outside it has three lines of holders.
Tomorrow i will measure the container and let you know
