    I came across this odd little item. So sorry bout the picture. I will try get a better shot. Looks like a minature purse. Maybe silver. It has a little badge saying hms renown.
    Looks like the ship had some history. Made in 1916

    Has anyone seen such a item? Maybe a sweetheart gift?
    I was thinking of buying it but $70 seemed a little steep

    Looks like it could well be a period cigarette case to me.

    I think you maybe right ned. The otherside has a loop chain. Looked like a little purse. I will go back and see if there are anymore markings. Might knock them down to $50. I think that may be a good deal

    Ahhhh thats it. Must be a couple of them floating around. How much was it going for on flea bay?
