Article about: Bought a box of stuff for 40.00 at a junkshop.The rifle sling looks german ww2,2 old boy scout pocket knives and another pokcet knife that looks like maybe a navy knife for cutting rope? Any

No worrys Rene,I have had a few "accidents"myself ,amazing the glass in my gun cabinet is still there.Anyway its a wonder how this sling came out intact in its travels after 75 years.The keeper was attached to the sling holes or it would probably have been lost.It needs some leather conditioner but dont want to mess with it too much.

careful on what you use mate some dry leather out!
