Normandie souvenir
I got this a long time ago was given it by the vets wife . He had sent her home handkerchiefs from all the places he went. She told me it was made from a parachute. Unfortunately I was young and in love with a girl and gave her all the other ones. She cut them up and made a quilt. Gary

Matty I don't know if it is or it isn't but it is silk. The one thing I do know is it came from Europe during the war. The other scarfs and handkerchiefs were from England Paris and other places from what I can remember. I was given these in the 70's gave them away in the 90's.
Indeed I wouldn't know either. It looks really nice, hand painted to me.
