Nice grouping! Was the jacket also named to George Tullidge? I was reading that the 7th army was the first U.S. Field Army to see combat in ww2.
Saginaw the little booklet was put out by Georges mother after his death. It was just in the grouping. Jake here in the states when a family member goes into service or military the family puts a little banner or flag in the window with a blue star on it. One blue star for each member. If that person is wounded they change the star to red if he or she is killed the star is changed to gold . Large flags like mine would ha e hung in a school ,club,or factory. Gary
Thanks Bud,very useful knowledge indeed, now I know exactly what they are should i ever see one............
Jake glad I could help
