    Hi,
Looking at your Mk1 Brodie it looks like a British helmet as it has the split pins to hold the chin strap loops, the U.S,
1917, helmet has the solid rivet. Nice helmet though.

A very nice, original M69 'practice' grenade. This is a real one,
instead of the Army/Navy surplus store reproductions
    you usually see.........!
    Regards,

    Steve.

Thanks, Steve! It certainly is not a $5 surplus store special.

My buddy gave me a pinapple grenade as well. I'll post it up once I get around to taking photos. It has the same style fuse (M228).

And here is the pineapple grenade...I believe it is an RFX M21?

    Hi Brodie,
Thanks for the ID! Just compared it to my other examples, which are US M1917's (solid rivet), and now see the difference.

Did some researching and I'm fairly certain the RFX M21 is a Army/Navy Surplus Store special...Oh well, it'll still looks good on display!

Hi Eric, I reckon you are correct, but they display OK.

Notice the EGA's on the USMC uniform. There is no rope as most have. I have a few of these but have not found out why some have the rope around the anchor and some do not. Does anyone know why?

Hi Burt, you can date them according to the design, but I cannot recall the details.

    Cheers, Ade.
