Here are some close ups of the grips and frog.
This was given to me by my great uncle. According to him, it was brought back by my great great grandfather who served in the first world war.
I did some research and I believe this is a M 1922 bayonet. I could be wrong though.
Since its post war, it could not have been used by my g-g grandfather. It was on the family farm for decades so it may have been used by his son in law, my great grandfather (September campaign veteran).
Here are two photos of my dad's farm. The Soviet mess kit, helmet liner, and canteen were found up in the attic.
I took a second look and found another addition to the collection. Unfortunately, I couldn't bring it through customs!

Shell casing from a Pak 40.
According to my grandma's friend (82 years old), the Germans had a artillery battery positioned in the woods next to the village. I'm assuming one of my family members picked up the casing from there after the war.
Another thing that I couldn't take with me!
