Unknown ammunition crate

A week ago me and a friend found this ammunition crate in his grandpas shed/barn when we where searching for old stuff.

Does anyone know how old it is, who used it and maybe some info about the crate? It was found in the Netherlands.

It's American, If I read the markings right it is for a 90mm tank gun and dated 1957.
Crate was Probably sold as surpluss?

Sarge is correct - U.S. 1957 - Nice that it still has the
markings. It should clean up nicely.........
