Vietcong badges from Vietnam

Hi !

I was in Vietnam last week. It was an awesome trip! On a market, a man sold these badges. He said they are from Vietcong soldiers who faught against the US forces.
I would like to hear some opinions on whether they are good or bad. I think they look real. He said, the inscriptions say: "against america". Isn't that interesting?
Any info on the value?

Interesting that google translates "To Win" on the first medal pictured and "Against America" on the second one. Also, why would they use Roman/English letters? I don't know if they are original or not. I hope we find out.

Hi, Guys:

Vietnam uses the Roman alphabet.

Medal on left (QUYET THANG) is the NLF Resolution for Victory Decoration established 9August 1965 and issued widely duringb the war.

Medal on the right is the NLF Oppose America Save Country Decoration (CHONG MY CUU NUOC).

The medals appear to be original and well-worn.

The downside of that is that, in that condition, they aren't valuable.

Interesting mementos from the other side of a bad war.

Thanks for the info Pat. I kinda wondered about them being Viet Cong. The Viet Cong was a political organization not a government, so I didn't know if they even issued medals in their name or not.
