So good to see your Uncle wanting to share this time capsule with you (and us too), thank him for his service for sure and cherish his company.
A friend now dead from the effects of AO blew a NVA
safe and it contained a very nice all matching Nazi P-38 pistol.
Thanks guys, I will pass along the well wishes. He and my dad both ar Vietnam Veterans and we all three went out yesterday and I just let both talk and I just listened.

Good for you Marty.
Some people have still to get over it and put in perspective.
I was at a diner 3-4 months ago and the fellow next to me had a VN Vet cap on.
He said his daughter still calls him a baby killer. How sad for both of them.
A Duff bag treasure trove!!!!!
Outstanding!!!!
I'm glad to read that he gave these items to you. I know they will get the respect they deserve.
Thank him for his service for me.

Very sad. Perhaps that lady ought to have considered that many of the soldiers who served in Vietnam were scarcely out of high school themselves. Their lives also blighted, in many cases by what they experienced there. Remember them, and let them speak with you if you get the opportunity.
