    I found this 15-20 years ago at a flea market and recently found it again in a box of my junk. (I forgot that i had it). Can you tell me what this is, a piece made to commemorate a reunion or anniversary? As always i look forward to your input,

    It's a participants' medal for a hiking event, the "9th International People's Hike 1979" held by some "Globetrotter" club/association of Sulzbach. Judging by the medal's design, they were apparently of a rather, well, conservative outlook...
