I'll throw my farm two bits in. I'm with obKrieger and think it is a furrow spade for an old seed drill. The implement would have eight to ten of these affixed to it with the rounded side facing forward as it was drug forward, it made a furrow or line for a seed to be dropped into. They wore out quick and each one was bolted on and could be removed easily. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a picture. I've seen similar on old seed drill's but without the swas.
