Whats your best find inside a find?

    Are You sure it is P38 holster? I have similar holster (also attick find) and finder told me that it was for Mauser pistol.

    I have brought this old thread back up for Patrick as we were talking privatly. The holster Pat has is in fact for the FN Browning Hi Power (GP35) known to the Germans as the Pistole 640(b)

    The basic design is similar but not the same as a P38 break away holster. Note the more snub nose to the end.

    My most bizarre find was a Blond womans hair net tucked deep in the corner of the pair of Panzer trousers!

    i used to own an old series 3 land rover lightwieght, it was a direct release from the mod so as you can imagine it was in need of a good spring clean, when i removed the passenger seat i an irish gaurds cap badge, a cleaning rod which i believe is from a sten, and 2 7.62 spent shells!!!!

    I once found a very old bloody bandage in one of the pockets of a U.S. M1910 cartridge belt.

    I found a nice Heer belt buckle in a $15 repro bread bag which was for sale
    at the local militaria store (closed now, he's since retired). A re-enactor
    had quit, and brought his stuff in to sell on consignment. Being the
    honest guy I am, I gave it over to the dealer who was surprised
    he had left it there.........!
