WWII US photo album pick up

Article about: I was at a junk shop today and found a great photo album tucked away in a book shelf. I believe the one tank is a king tiger. GARY

    Very nice photos!

The Me-262 might be from JG 7 (later Kommando Nowotny)

Love looking at pictures. Thanks for showing. In pic #7 does the US soldier with the helmet have a P38 on his belt?

Hard to see clearly on a cell phone

Very nice set of photos! They all appear to have belonged to the 45th Infantry Division.

I took the time to research the guy farthest to the left in the photo of the four GI's standing with their duffle bags. Here is Lamar A. Slabaugh's enlistment record: NARA - AAD - Page not found

And here is his grave: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg...GRid=36405896&

I have also located his children and grandchildren and can give them a call for you if you'd like. I figure the family might like to see a pic of granddad from back in the war.
