Yesterday's Carboot

Hi, just wanted to share the items I picked up at a local carboot sale yesterday. The theme of the day seeme to be compasses. First I found the P11 compass in homemade box, am I right in thinking these were used in ships and aircraft during the war? Second was the US wrist compass made by Taylor which unfortunatly has some damage to the back and the strap missing.

Finally the NHSR helmet with 1943 dated shell and 1949 dated liner and the BAR looking pouch which is unmarked, although I think it could possibly be Belgian made, the kind they used to put FN FAL mags in.
