The only way to get around it is not to use any of their 'red flag' words in your listing, so it doesn't get automatically flagged for checking.
mentioning swastika, Nazi etc will guarantee that the listing will get reviewed.... and removed.

Quite true, I have sold on ebay for a while, even had an ebay shop at one point, until I realised I was paying over £400 in fees and commission.
Set up my own website now for £25 a month saving £350, and only use ebay as a marketing tool really.
Can you give anymore details please? £25 a month seems reasonable but I guess there was an initial outlay?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Or if its militaria, you could always PM me and I could happily list it on my site for you, no charge, no commission.
It really depends on what the item is, and how quickly you wish to sell it.
Kind regards
Ed
And what is your site Ed?
Regards,
Jerry
Whatever
its just an opinion.

Heres a link to my site, i sell lots of modern surplus, which is why ebay worked out for me, but the site is a work in progress really, ive still got 100s of items to put on there but finding the time....
I've now started using it as an excuse to tell my wife when i buy something, so when she askes "why is there a ak47 on the dining table?" i can say "its for the website darling" and no more questions are asked!....... still havent put the AK on the site yet
If anyone wants to put anything on there to sell, PM me, like i said before no fees or charges, just a thankyou when it sells is good enough for me.

if memory serves, i think it cost about £40 to set up originally, with buying the domain name etc. but then on its just £20 +vat per month, cancel at anytime.
You can add on lots of packages etc, but have alook at my site, as its one of the basic packages at £20.
Its probably taken me a week in total to get all the listing and designs right, but now it just takes 2-3 minutes to create and list a new item.
I know its not the best militaria site in the world, but im still working on it.
