It wouldn't be that expensive, and SO much easier to buy an original from Sweden instead of re-making a changed one. Also that helmet of yours is a civil defence helmet.

I know it is the civil defense reissue, but still represents the m26 helmet.
I got the tunic with different intention, hence the project.
Aside from that i never found a complete one.

The thing is, though, that the m/26 helmet was still quite rare in army use in 1940/41. (Which is what it'll resemble without decal)
(And it's not re-issued btw, it's made for the civil defence)

The Swedish Post Office does ship to Canada and it shouldn't be that hard to find a Swedish collector that can supply you with any Swedish militaria you may want.

Interesting - what was the difference between m26 shell made for the army and the civil defense ?
I know Swedish post office ships to Canada, but like I said the whole Swedish tunic development was not intended.
If you can hook me up with a nice m21 or m37 with decals - I will be more than happy :-)

I actually do have both large and small (army) buttons in sufficient numbers lying around in the apartment, I thought they were in the attic.
