I know most of you have a wide collection of firearms, but does anyone use airguns as "fill ins" for holsters? I do, and I keep an airgun replica of a Colt 1911 in an original holster to give it a good look. Just curious. These are also very fun to shoot. The holster is marked Graton and Knight CO. 1943. Also, I purchased the holster from a veteran. He made put the holes in the holster.

Currently I have a 1960's Webley 'Premier' air pistol which I keep
in a WWII Canadian web holster. And a pot-metal 1911 from
'Replica Models' - made in the 1970's - which rests in a
    holster such as yours.

This also prevents the leather from collapsing. I have seen guys
who made '1911' silhouettes from wood for this purpose.
    Regards,

    Steve.
