    Default Assorted Medals - Need Identification

    Dear Friends,

    I have been offered these items but do not know what any of them are. Would you be so kind as to point me in the right direction to research them? I will get better pictures and the reverse sides.

    I am sorry, I cannot get them rotated correctly.

    Thanks,

    William

    Two Kriegsverdienstkreuz mit Schwertern 2. Klasse [War Merit Cross with Swords 2nd Class], an Ehrenkreuz für Hinterbliebene [Honor Cross for next-of-kin of soldiers KIA in WWI], a tourists' souvenir patch from Salzburg in Austria, a Gautag tinnie and a U.S. "Ruptured Duck" patch [worn by honorably discharged personnel].

    Clockwise from the top;

    1. German WWI Honour Cross for next of kin of fallen soldier.
    2. Modern Austrian tourist souvenir patch from Salzburg
    3. Third Reich Kriegsverdienstkreuz mit Schwerten 2nd class (War Merit Cross with Swords ie for combattants)
    4. Third Reich day badge or "tinnie" by the looks of it but can't see the design / inscription.
    5. US "Ruptured Duck" discharged servicemans badge.
    6. As No3 but with the ribbon.

    Not a high value group at all but you will easily find dealer prices on the internet. The Austrian souvenir patch I would describe politely as being of "no commercial value"

    I hope this helps.

    Edit; Andreas beat me by a moment or two there!!
