Avatars: what is yours?

Article about: Mine changes, right now it's from a near mint Q SS decal from a helmet I own and as SS helmets are my passion/specialty I thought it was appropriate for a few weeks anyway LOL.

    Hello there, mine is me,
    metal detecting near the Hedjaz Railway Line in Jordan, about 50 metres from archaeological remains of WWI Turkish artillery pit & encampment.

    I love to photoshop; it keeps my friends smiling so my avatar is a WWI photo with my head and my buddy's head. The reasons behind our EK2 awards has been deemed classified.

    As my nickname on here is Jimpy, which is British army slang for the L7 GPMG and I am/was a qualified GPMG-SF Fire Controller, and I spent nearly 4 years "packing a GPMG", mine's a GPMG-SF kit in the High Mount position.

    Know what you mean mate, miss mine also - he was GG also as you know. I've a got "studio photo" of my grand-dad when he was a serjeant, I really must get it put on here as a "stand-alone"

    Im in the middle of "swapping rooms" at present and its in a box with some other things, but the first chance that I get it will be posted up.
