I'd be interested in finding patches of Donbass Peoples Militia, such as the "Сомали" battalion patch.

I haven't seen any of the Donetsk Republics symbols although I have come across flags. I'm not sure if they have patches or not.

I just brought up some of the politics/news article because this is in the discussion forum.
A reminder that discussions related to the politics of conflicts and/or combatants are not permitted in the WRF "Discussions" forum only subjects regarding militaria collecting. This rule is in place to maintain the peace on the forum. However WRF Gold Members have their own discussion area which allows them a greater latitude in subject matters discussed outside of militaria collecting.
    I collect, therefore I am.

Fair enough! Guess it's time to become a member. Unfortunately the ruble has fallen and what would've been a $25 membership has now become, for me, a $52 membership.

Are there Russian websites that sell such flags and patches?

I think there is scope for a future research paper - "Brand identity and the merchandising of conflict"

To commemorate the fierce and bloody fighting in the "Ilovaisky boiler" during August 2014 between Ukrainian armed forces and police units and the armed formations of the DNR.
