Hi Gary, if you are talking about an old issue from many years ago, no. That one came out of a British scrap yard and was sold to a Herr Flick in Germany. He has now passed away I believe?
Cadman's Panther: The hull and turret were fabricated by the Hermann Goring Steel Works in Linz, Austria, but the final assembler is unknown due to the loss of its original chassis number. The original German chassis number was obliterated when it was given a new AMX chassis number, following its post-war refurbishment by the AMX factory. This tank most probably served with the French Army's 501-503rd RCC, then it went to the Saumur museum and finally ended in the Cadman collection.

Ade, cheers for the info on the Panther. I myself remember hearing about a Panther being found in a French scrap yard, 1970's I think, missing its barrel... had a piece of scaffold tube shoved in place for looks
regards to all, Simon.
Great thread chaps and a great show. Anybody know who the old boy in Panzer outfit was? Certainly looked like a veteran.
I believe this may be Werner Volkner a Totenkopf veteran

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Am i right in thinking that a Panther is being restored at the Isle of Wight by a team of tank restorers
