Thank you stuka
All help is very much appreciated.
And some VERY lovely uniforms!
But if they were intended for the Congo, aren't they a little... Well. Warm?
Regarding uniform:
A the moment I have a mismatch uniform. A pair of "moon and balls" 1956 trousers, and a "brush-stroke" smock also dated 1956.
However, it would seem that the paras in Congo never actually wore the camouflage trousers? Or did they? I am honestly a bit confused. Many seemed to wear OD-green trousers together with the camouflage-smock?
However the trousers I bought are very lovely, and I intend to keep them. Especially since I realised that the "moon and balls" pattern were the least produced pattern. Far surpassed by smocks and trouser in "brush-stroke" and "jigsaw" patterns.
aahhhh I see!
Nice uniforms non the less! I have a weak spot for that kind of uniforms.
They were certainly more than stylish back in the day
EDIT:
Now that I got most of the webbing. Apart from brace attachments and braces, I am looking for something along the lines of this:
Untitled Document
BUT for the webbing pattern, prior to the introduction of the M/71 webbing.

I guess the seller is French speaking, but I can help if needed.
These hats don't show up often! It is the third one I see, since long!

very nice indeed Kris
That is indeed a very special item... And a price to match. But I guess they are worth it?
But thanks A LOT for taking your time. I do speak a little French my self, so language will not be a problem. But thanks for the offer. I don't how I should be able to repay you though, for this magnificent gesture
All the best,
