    Default Blood or rust?

I have a Vietnam uniform with a little damage in the neck and it looks to be field repaired. There are a lot of spots around the area, and I'm wondering if it could possibly be blood? I need an extra set of eyes on this one, as I am not sure, the splatter etc makes me think it is blood rather than rust. If only it could talk, maybe the owner got himself a purple heart, hehe

I don't think blood would be that brown, it would be black if it was from the war and not the last owner :P

It looks like rust to me. I have seen a lot of that on my helmet covers.

Definitely rust!Apart from the fact that it's clearly rust old, dried blood has an altogether different color to it.I've got a German tunic which belonged to a WH Uffz hit by a tiny splinter above his left pec and the color of the blood on the lining is very dark brown, almost black,as Normandie has said!
