Expensive indeed. I thought I had hit the jackpot. I know better now,
    thanks to the Forum................!

It turned out ok in the end though, because along with the bogus
flags came a wool NSDAP armband and a Luftwaffe 'Flakhelfer'
cap - both original - which were worth the money
I spent on all four pieces.

For interests sake, here they are :
we all make a bad deal sometimes .

Finaly got the pictures uploaded! These are actually the ones he sent me, my camera made everything off colored and super dark. But if you look on the left of the Swastika their is minor color bleeding, and the fabric has a very slight stretch to it. I believe it is real because the guy I bought from I know has no intentions of screwing anybody over.
But as I said before I always get super paranoid whenever I buy something German, and just want to double check with you guys for more confidence in it because I am no expert at identifing authentic items.

Aside from the damage the flag looks fine.

The burn test is accurate, but you need to read this, but don't burn 1 inch squares of material as recommended!

    How to determine fabric content

The main thing is you are looking for modern plastic based materials which burn into a hard round ball and not turn to ash.
