    Default Carentan Militaria/souvenirs

    Good evening all !

    I have a quick question ...
This year i'll be staying in Carentan for the 70th , i usually stay in Saint Mere Eglise but decided on a change .

My question is .. does the town have any militaria shops or souvenir type for militaria like Sainte Mere does ?

    thanks in advance

Very close to where I live! St Mere Eglise is only a few miles, and Caretan. where do most of my shopping is about 15 minutes drive.
There is a military shop in Carentan called Paratrooper, but I think there are more.

Isn't the paratrooper shop part of dead man's corner?

Ive been to that one several times .. very nice stuff in there , plus the main 2 in Sainte Mere .. was just wondering if any existed actually in Carentan town ?

    thanks again

@ Panzer .. would that be Sainte Marie du Mont ? its kind of got the Church right in the center and you drive around it ?
That has a couple of pretty good shops .. however one in particular had repro mixed in with period items .. a bit naughty i thought

    cheers

Yep , when quizzed if one Eagle was period his English suddenly became none existent ( was in the middle of actual period items and was priced @ 15 euros )

It surprised me a little as it was a big shop

    cheers
