I also like the HJ armband in the centre.

Definitely. Along the lines of a comment I made the other day, I'm not sure if it's a fascination with history or if their just rare but people just seem to collect German stuff more then American. Same thing with Russian stuff, those russian medals are a dime a dozen (at least the common ones).

I would buy it and keep as is. War booty souvenier from ww2. It isnt worth breaking it up for a few patches...it stayed this way for nearly 70 years and some idiot wants to come along and rip it up!? for what, a lufty, plolice and partial armband? Unless it is something like the blanket I found on CL with about five AFRIKA KORPS and several KRETA CT's and several SS stuff, Skulls etc.....I wouldnt break it up.The blanket was $1000 BTW
