Lemmy sprang to mind instantly, as does Jeff Hannemann (guitarist of the heavy metal band Slayer). I had a very interesting conversation with him, about 15 years ago...but it was in a rock club, and I was sitting down enjoying a "few" drinks with the band...and I don't remember it so well!

Lemmy is a legend in everything he does, nothing less. Seriously, how many people have the most awesome moustache in the world, a legendary band, and a huge collection of TR memorabilia at the same time!?

There was an actor here in the UK called George Sewell, he played a lot of villains in films and TV, I believe he had one of the largest collections of WW1 german helmets including Picklehaubs, on his death it is believed the entire collection was broken up and sold

It makes me wonder if he actually knows anything about his collection, or if he just lets his money loose...

I was told by a dealer friend of mine the other day that the actor who played rimmer in red dwarf came to see him and bought a load of ww2 GI stuff.

This was brought up on another forum a few years back.

    Charlton Heston--TR guns
    James Earl Jones--Lugars
Lemmy (of coarse) He bought Ozzy's collection
    Sly Stallone--TR
    Frank Sinatra--SA daggers
    Bill Gates--US Civil war
    Ted Turner--US Civil war
Kareem Abdul Jabbar--Things related to the Buffalo Soldiers
Peter Jackson (lord of the rings) ww1 militaria
    Clint Eastwood--W-SS camouflage
    gregM
Live to ride -- Ride to live

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
    myself around.
