yeah i have the SS items a very exspensive,
ive been on the awards section and with all the names in geman find it a little confuseing
i did what a few books to get into the the basic's of the awards and there meaning of them
and into the SS items

You'll be surprised how fast you get to know the German names for things. My understanding of the language has been helped by collecting a fair bit. I have accidentally learned the words to 'SS marschiert', and find myself singing it quietly as I walk around town sometimes, helps keep a rhythm

Don't be confused, after a short while, using the German names for awards will become second nature and it makes it a bit more interesting too. The 'German Terminology' thread lists all the awards with the English so it's easy to look them up and get into the habit of using a second language to talk about the award in question. No-one is expecting you to be fluent in German!
