The movie is given a fair bit of stick but it is still very worth while viewing. I enjoyed it. The ending actually surprises a few people too.

I didnt see it but ive heard its a good movie but there are some cracking b/w WW2 movies on the box early morning, yesterday it was "They were not divided", excellent tank movie, made in 1950, Sherman tanks used throughout plus two original Tigers, interspersed with period footage, a bit old fashioned but i like them like that, today its "Dangerous Moonlight" an RAF film , Monday was " Ill met by moonlight", tomorrow is "Bombadier" and Friday is "The Purple Plain", im enjoying my mornings for a change
Have a look at "The Grey Zone" if you haven't already seen it. That's a very good movie. A dark, but accurate portrayal of life in the Sonderkommando at Birkenau.[/I]
Noted, Where would i be likely to find a copy?
Phill.
Try amazon. I was lucky as I walked into the local video shop as it was having a closing down sale and picked up the dvd for about three pounds.

I have watched the movie last year. I liked it too. We should start a thread recommending movies and documentaries to each other.
Looking for the photo albums of Leutnant Emil Freitag, 3. / G.R. 377
