OK time for more nit picking, I was watching an episode of the Colditz tv series and a new character appeared, Major Mohn a paratrooper wounded at Stalingrad and no longer fit for front line duty, as a paratrooper surely he'd be wearing yellow collar tabs, he had black tabs????

Hi Paul, his tabs are actually dark green for Luftwaffe Feldivision troops. He does not wear an FJ badge either.

I missed today's episode of Colditz: on the whole the kit was pretty good. Major Mohne's gold Nahrkampspange worn under the ribbon bar does bug me though!

Just watched series 2 episode 1 when Mohne first arrives at Colditz, he's talking to the commandant and tells him he was wounded at Stalingrad, in this episode he is wearing a Fallschirmjager abzeichen next to a gold wound badge, so he's still wearing the wrong colour collar tabs unless he's been transferred!..
