Hello, ladies and gentlemen!

Please excuse this off topic thread, but I have become quite close with a lot of the members of this forum. I figured this would be a nice, semi private method of spreading the good news... My girlfriend would certainly notice if I plastered this all over Facebook!

After what seems like years of saving, and numerous instances of spending my saved money on great deals on militatia and firearms... I finally scraped together enough cash and bit the bullet. I purchased an engagement ring for my girlfriend!

I intend to propose to her this summer while we are on vacation in Italy. However, I am horrible at keeping secrets from her and I can already feel this thing burning a hole in my pocket, so to speak. I may pop the question sooner...
