I though that you guys would like an update on "Tank".

The operation lasted 10 hours ( these can last up to 15) and was a sucess. Naturally, he is still in the high dependency ward but he is now speaking again which is great news! I will post updates as and when I get them from his Mum.

That is great news! I know first hand that waiting for the Dr. to come out and talk to the family members can be torture. It is incredible how "routine" that brain surgery has become over the years. I remember my wife's surgeon explaining the procedure prior to, in a manner that made me think he was talking about removing a hang nail or something. He performs 80-90 brain surgeries a year and said he had never lost a patient in all of the years he has been a Neuro-surgeon.

all the best big lad!!! my thoughts are with you, just got over a nasty cancer scare!!! so got a good idea of what you and your family are going through, all the best for the future.
