Rossi , thank you for your service and to other service personnel on the forum, keep in mind that this is a "Hollywood" film and most screen plays are exaggerated to say the least , saying that it was worth paying $10 bucks to see the real tiger tank in the battle scene , strong performances by the cast , reply back if you get the chance to see it .

I believe it is another Hero-movie. One side has the evil heartless Germans, and on the other side- the purest of souls: The allied angels. In the end of the movie the evil genius, A german sadistic commander will 99% certain die a horrible death, of cource killed by a heavily wounded Brad pitt.
Most likely a movie for younger viewers, not a old fart like me.
I prefer quality productions like "Das Boot", that is a movie taking the viewer into the insanity of war.
Something along those lines no doubt.... Hollywood always paint a picture of WW2 as if the Western allies won the war all by themselves. Hollywood seems to forget the 8-10 million dead soldiers of the Soviet Union. What was the loss of the US, some 400.000?
Cheers!

Try "Ill met by moonlight" with Dirk Bogarde, based on true events
A great film and better than the book which is a rare thing to say.

So Nick, would you say it is realistic and believable or rather just a good adventure movie?

Saw "Fury" and liked it a lot.
Realistic, bleak, violent, brutal, cruel, warrior. The actors look sweaty, dirty, greasy and tired as they're supposed to. Actualy the tiredness on the actor's faces is absolutely amazing. Great care on the wardrobe too
The final battle scene seems a bit unreal (but I'm no expert)
Definitely a movie to watch.
