Who is the dealer?
The page you link to just shows items with no mention of who it is.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Opps! reeces reich relics
He has quite a lot of photographs, many in miscellaneous, that are of poor quality. Many items also only show few pictures from far away. Not a positive sign IMO. Any dealer that can build or even pay someone to build a website surely can take somewhat of high quality pictures.
His home page,
German and American World War II Collectibles and Memorebelia
Agreed, I just looked at an SA dagger that looked like it came out of super mario brothers (NES, 1985 ). Not any concrete significance but a bad sign.
Looks like the person gets Micky mouse to photograph the items.
A dealer, especially one who claims to be a collector, should know the importance of good detailed
"in focus" photos. The ridiculous camera angles used & lack of close up photos of maker marks,
helmet lot numbers etc would have me hitting the "back" button & going to look elsewhere. If a
dealer can't be bothered taking decent photos, I can't be bothered buying from him.
Regards
Brett
His site as said above it littered with poor photos and descriptions. His items look fairly overpriced. His headgear and some of his other items are questionable.
